Alternators – the alternator is the electricity provider, its job is to generate power for all electrical components on your car as you drive and ensure the battery remains fully charged. We repair all alternators and where not repairable provide a quality replacement.
Starter Motors – the starter motor has the job of cranking your vehicles engine when starting. We repair all brands and designs of starter motor and can provide quality replacements when required.
Ignition system parts – the ignition system creates and directs the spark into the engine, it is made up of many components; coils, leads, plugs, caps, rotors etc. We have the latest diagnostic and bench testing equipment to pinpoint any faults. We supply quality components to replace any worn or damaged parts.
EFI – electronic fuel injection – all modern vehicles use computers to control the engine; this brings the requirement to use special diagnostic equipment when problems arise to interrogate the computers and locate faulty components. We have the latest diagnostic equipment to get to the bottom of your car’s problems.

Lighting – with the huge range of vehicles on New Zealand roads, the number of different bulbs is constantly growing - we stock all types of bulbs. We have a large range of Hella lamps in stock and can install any lamps on your vehicle.
A/C – Air Conditioning – this is great for demisting the windscreen in winter, not just cooling in summer! We provide full A/C service and repair, from a straight forward system-regas to fabrication of new pipes or hoses. We have all the knowledge and equipment to get your A/C working again.
Alarms – Investing in security for your vehicle is a great idea, we install quality alarm systems from basic protection to GPS tracking systems. We have all common remotes in stock so can program these while you wait.
Stereos – with today’s trend in music turning from CD to MP3 we can install a replacement stereo with USB or AUX inputs which will allow you to listen to your favourite music with ease.
Batteries – often overlooked, your battery needs to be the correct design and size for your vehicle. All too often we see batteries that have been fitted that are either too small or the incorrect design of battery. We are not battery salespeople, we are battery specialists.
Cambelt/timing belt - when was your cambelt last replaced? Most vehicle manufacturers recommend that the cambelt is replaced every 100,000 kms or every 5 years (this does vary from one brand to another). If your cambelt has not been replaced during this period it could fail without warning causing very expensive engine damage. We can replace your cambelt and associated idlers/tensioners and seals with the highest quality parts.
Clutch - your vehicle’s clutch transfers power from the engine to the transmission/gearbox, the type of driving and your driving habits will dictate the life of a clutch - it should last 4 to 6 years. If you are having trouble selecting gears or your engine accelerates more quickly than the vehicle (this will be more noticeable uphill or if towing) then it could be time to get your clutch replaced.
WOF inspections/repairs - a Warrant of Fitness or WOF is required every six months for vehicles built in 2004 or prior, and every 12 months for newer vehicles. A WOF is a general safety inspection to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, our fully qualified WOF inspectors will carry out an inspection as set out by New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA). They complete regular updates and liaise with NZTA on all WOF requirements.
Suspension/Steering repairs - if you have noticed your car handling is deteriorating or your vehicle feels like it bounces, it could indicate a problem with
your shock absorbers or suspension system.
Brake repair/replacement - brakes are the most important item on your car, without these you could be in real danger! If you are experiencing any of the following driving symptoms, it could indicate a problem with your brakes.
